About CalcCampus
CalcCampus is a free collection of online calculators built to make student life a little easier. Whether you are working out your GPA, figuring out what you need on a final exam, converting a grade between different systems, or planning your path to graduation, our tools are designed to give you fast, accurate answers without the hassle.
Why We Built It
Students spend a surprising amount of time doing the same small calculations by hand: averaging grades, weighting assignments, converting a percentage to a GPA. Many of the calculators available online are cluttered, confusing, or hidden behind sign-up forms. CalcCampus was created as an independent project to do it better: clean, free tools that work instantly in your browser, with clear explanations of the math behind each one.
Who Runs CalcCampus
CalcCampus is built and maintained by a single independent creator with a focus on accuracy and usefulness. Every calculator is tested carefully, and the formulas are checked against trusted sources before a tool goes live. When a calculation involves a specific standard, such as the AMCAS science GPA rules or the German grade conversion formula, we research the official method and explain it openly so you understand exactly how your result was reached.
Our Approach
- Free and open: every tool is free to use, with no account required.
- Accurate: formulas are verified against official and authoritative sources.
- Honest: where a calculation is an estimate, we say so clearly and point you to the official source.
- Private: the numbers you enter stay in your browser and are never stored by us.
- Always improving: we add new tools regularly based on what students actually search for.
A Note on Accuracy
We work hard to make every calculator correct and every explanation clear. That said, grading policies, conversion formulas, and application rules can vary by institution and can change over time. Our tools are intended for planning and estimation. For decisions that matter, such as university applications, always confirm the official rules with your school or the relevant application service.
